November Stamp Camp

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving with your family and friends.  It was a really nice time at our house this year.  I made the cutest little favors that I filled with candy.

Stamp camp was a great time as usual and our theme was Christmas. Here is a picture of the cards we made below.

October Stamp Camp Card #1

Wow! October came in and went...

Didn't do any trick or treating because both my kids are grown, but I had fun passing out candy to the kids in the neighborhood.

Stamp Camp this month was a lot of fun with a Fall theme.

The second card is based on the Sunburst technique. Many demostrators have been sharing their versions of this technique so I decided to give it a try. I have to say I liked this technique and it came together pretty quick.

Envelope Punch Board

The New Envelope Punch Board is now available!!  I absolutely love it!  Contact me for details on ordering!

Anniversary/Customer Appreciation Party

I had my Stampin' Up! Anniversary & Customer Appreciation Party on August 30th.  I was so happy that many of you were able to attend.  What a great way to celebrate my 2nd Anniversary with Stampin' Up! I love throwing a party!

We started the evening off with a light dinner & refreshments.  Then we had a lot of fun with our Stampin' Up! Bingo! I made Bingo cards using the Stampin' Up! Colors and it was alot of fun.  After Bingo we did our Make & Takes.  The ladies loved them!

After the Make & Takes we played another game Left/Right and everyone ended up with a prize.  That was also a lot of fun.  The prizes ranged from a gift certificate to a Stamp Camp, candy, ribbon & dauber and a Paper Pumpkin!

Thanks to all who attended! I look forward to another year of Stampin' with you!

August Happenings!

August has been a very busy month for me!

We took a vacation on the Carnival Glory ship and had a great time, our ports of destination were St. John & Halifax in Canada.  We normally go south and wanted to try something different. 

Now while I was gone a few new promotins have come out so here goes...

Christmas Single Stamps - I love that is year Stampin' Up is releasing single stamps for Christmas.  It will give us the option to have more variety when creating our Holiday cards.  I can't wait to get some of these and start creating!

Best of for August is Halloween!!

Stampin' Up! Convention 2013

Wow! That’s all I can say!! I attended the Stampin' Up! 2013 Convention this past week and I was simply amazed!!!  I traveled with some great friends and had a great roommate.

I participated in 2 organized swaps and then I had about 50 general swaps.

This swap was call "All Dressed Up". The instructions were to make a card using the Dress Up Framelit.

 The next organized swap was called "All New".  The instructions were to use a new stamp set from the catalog that we had not previously seen.  I used the Flower Shop stamp set.

Here is a picture of my general swap card.  For this card I used the "Best of Greetings" stamp set.

We all had a great time and I cannot wait until next year!

I am getting ready to head out to the Stampin' Up! Stamp Camp

Sincere Thanks!

First I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the kind words of condolences and cards as we dealt with the sudden passing of my grandfather.  I was thrilled to receive cards from so many people.  Here are few samples of the homemade cards I received.  I am very fortunate to have friends that care so much!

  

Stamp Camp
Once a month I hold a Stamp Camp.  Camp is usually on a Friday night from 6-9pm and on Saturday I have 2 sessions - 9am-12pm and 1-4pm.

This past weekend I hosted the camp.  We made 5 cards and we had a good time!  I hope everyone like the cards.

Here are cards and Enjoy!

 This card was made using Quilting Technique.  It looks difficult but it was really easy - at least that what my stampers said :)  We used the Sassy Salutations stamps set that is 25% off until June 30th.

 Since I received so many sympathy cards I thought it was only fitting to make one this month.  This stamp set used the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set. 

I just love the new Flower Shop stamp set and new Pansy Punch!! For this card we used the emboss resist technique.  It was quite a hit!

For this card, we tried this great fold that I have seen all over the Internet and Pinterest.  The stamp set is the Best of Birthdays that came out in January and the greeting is from the Sweet Essentials stamp set that is also 25% until June 30th.

This is one of my favorite new stamp sets! Mosaic Madness!! We also use the new Mosaic embossing folder and Mosaic punch.  This paper is also great and from the Quatrefancy Specialty Designer Series Paper!
